Graham Clarke, 27, will tackle the Greater Manchester Marathon on April 6 before embarking on a 270 mile cycle tour of the country, and then running the London Marathon on April 13.

He is hoping to raise at least £1500 for the charity Action on Addiction.

Graham’s cycle tour begins with a target of 55 miles on the first day, by travelling from Manchester to Chesterfield, over the huge hills of the Peak District.

The six day tour will also pass through Nottingham, Leicester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, and Windsor before finally arriving in Greenwich for the London Marathon.

Action on Addiction’s fundraising & events co-ordinator Katie Blower said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that Graham is willing to undertake this gruelling challenge to raise funds for us.

“To run one marathon is a huge challenge, but to run two marathons and cycle nearly 300 miles is a massive test of endurance.
