A Knowhow customer service desk has been installed allowing customers to get their electrical items looked at and repaired.

A brand new Carphone Warhouse section has also been created with specialist staff on hand to offer advice on mobile phones and contracts.

As part of the new Knowhow area the store is also offering a ‘Showhow’ service where staff can show customers how to use different products and devices.

The re-fit has also seen a new layout created in the store. The checkouts have been moved to the front to create more room on the shop floor and the Currys and PC World ranges have been spread into two separate sections on either side of the shop.

More Apple products have been brought in and a new section has been created for ‘wearable’ items, which include products such as Apple watches and heart rate and fitness monitors.

The project has allowed the store to take on more members of staff with 22 people currently employed however, store manager Gregg Maxam said he hoped to take the number up to 30.

He said: “It is a fantastic re-fit.

“It is very good for the local area. No longer do people have to go to Crawley or any other areas, they can stay in town.

“We want to be the one stop shop for technology.

“It looks really good and the feedback we have had from customers has been very good too.”

Horsham MP Jeremy Quin came down to the store to mark the re-opening.
