Horsham’s housing strategy to be presented in July

Horsham District Council has announced a report on the Horsham District Planning Framework Preferred Strategy will be heard at a special full council meeting on Thursday July 25 starting at 6pm.

HDC has been preparing its Local Development Framework (LDF) which will set out where and how many houses are built in the district over the next 20 years.

Claire Vickers (Con, Southwater), appointed cabinet member for living and working communities earlier this year, has put an emphasis on communities producing their own Neighbourhood Plans to sit alongside HDC’s own LDF.
