The hospice, based in Hove, says the challenge is open to anyone aged 14 or older and no experience is needed.

Charlotte Bolton of the hospice's events team said: "If you are the kind of person who likes to challenge yourself then the Night i360 iDrop is definitely for you.

"It is a physical event but it is something that anyone can do with a bit of bravery and lots of encouragement from their supporters."

She added: “Our life-changing hospice care is only free thanks to the generosity of the people of Brighton & Hove. So sign-up now, challenge yourself and really make a difference.”

It costs £50 to register for the iDrop and the hospice is asking those that take part to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship.

Martlets hospice cares for people living through a terminal illness in and around Brighton and Hove.
