Amanda Hildreth, community fundraiser at St Michael’s Hospice, said: “Many of our supporters sent in their photos and it certainly looks like everyone had great fun.

“Activities included anything from a head shave in school, to Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee collecting in Battle High Street. “A big thank you to all the bakeries who baked yellow themed cakes, including; Judges High Street, Michala’s Cute Cakes, Oak Bakery, The Little Mill Bakery, The Oven Door and The Rye Bakery in Hastings, St Leonards and Rye.

“We would also like to thank Shakeaway who designed and sold two Yellow Day milkshakes leading up to the event, in aid of the hospice.

“We must also make a special mention to our volunteer Ann Hutchison, who very kindly decorated the hospice reception yellow for the day (pictured).”
