On Thursday (December 1), members of Brunswick in Bloom are inviting residents to join them for the lighting of the Floral Clock Christmas tree.

The event will start at 3.45pm at St John the Baptist Church, in Palmeira Square, where children from Brunswick Primary School Choir will be singing Christmas carols.

The group will then move to Palmeira Square where Councillor Pete West, Mayor of Brighton and Hove, will be switching on the Christmas tree lights at 4.30pm entertained by members of the Rotary Club Choir.

Cllr West said: “We hope lots of people will join us to see the lights, enjoy the singing and get into the festive spirit.”

This year’s Christmas tree has been installed by Brighton and Hove City Council, with a donation from Just Log It Ltd, which sponsors the Floral Clock.
