HULA HAIRCUTS
HULA girls, haircuts and hot food were just some of the things on offer at a charity day in Heathfield.
The scorching weather proved the perfect backdrop for a special tropical themed event at Topknots hair salon in the High Street on Sunday.
Organised by hairdressers Kelly License and Nikki Lee-Billinghurst, the salon offered hair cuts, hand and arm massages and a barbecue to customers in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Kelly said: 'It was a great day and we managed to raise 770.44, which is thanks to the generosity of our customers.
'Between 30 and 50 clients came in for some pampering and to soak up the atmosphere and we had live music from local DJ Paul Rogers.'
