Michaela Clements, Events Fundraiser at St Catherine’s, said: “Last year, over 220 Crawley runners donned a Santa suit to show their support for the vital care we provide to terminally ill patients and their families across Sussex and Surrey. By taking part in our Crawley Santa Run you’ll be helping us make the festive season as comfortable as possible for our patients and those closest to them. Each year, it costs us £180,000 to provide our care over the 12 days of Christmas. With your support we can help patients and families make, what may be their last Christmas together, memorable and continue to be there when they need us most.”

Stuart Davies, from Horsham, will take part in the 5km Crawley Santa Run for the first time.

He said: “I wanted to take part in St Catherine’s Santa Run because I love running, plus this is a great family event which will raise awareness and money for an amazing local charity.”
