COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS (CFRs): are volunteers who are trained to respond to emergency calls through the 999 system in conjunction with the South East Coast Ambulance Service Foundation Trust. CFRs give their time freely to respond to medical emergencies within their community. Your time, donation or sponsorship could literally be a lifesaver. We make a difference! Could you? CFRs are fully trained by with initial emergency kits provided. There is a need for fund raising as there is a need for a defibrillator for each CFR; a uniform and car stickers. Could you spare a few hours each week or month to help people in your community? Once trained you would respond to 999 calls pending on the arrival of an ambulance. Volunteers must be over 18 have access to a car and be able to respond to emergency incidents from their home or place of work and must be ready to drop everything and attend an incident when dispatched.
