CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS: Saturday 6th 12pm - 3.30pm Primary School Christmas Fair. Sunday 7th. 5pm Shop & Cafe Annual Lighting Of The Holly Bush in the Cafe Garden. Before the lighting up ceremony there will be a carol procession with lanterns (children must be accompanied by a adult) from Holy Trinity Church through Ridgeway to the Shop. Saturday 20th. 4pm. at Holy Trinity Church Carol Service followed by mince pies and mulled wine.

Spend £10 or more in the shop (excluding alcohol & tobacco) and be eligible for the ‘End of Month Raffle’ and win a cake made by Mark Roby. Paintings by Burwash Monday Painters on display and for sale...new picture every 2 months. Due to extended opening hours and being more busy, we are urgently in need of volunteers to man the till and make drinks in the afternoons. Opening hours- Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm. HOLY TRINITY CHURCH: 9.30pm First Sunday in the month Holy Eucharist. 4pm Third Sunday in the month an informal service. THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY: meeting in the Village Hall on Wednesday 10th December 7.45pm. Speaker: Peter Jones. ‘The History of Finger Prints’ followed by coffee and biscuits & raffle. £10 members annual fee. £2 for visitors.

SHORT MAT BOWLS CLUB: Plays in the Village Hall Monday evenings & Thursday afternoons. We have an Annual Christmas Social drinks and snacks provided, a game of bowls for both men & women with a Christmas Hamper Prize. End of season Annual Trophy Dinner 50% paid by the club.
