SHOP & CAFE NEWS: Annual lighting of the holly bush Sunday 7th December at 5pm In the Garden of the Cafe. Before the lighting up ceremony there will be a procession with lanterns (children must be accompanied by an adult) From Holy Trinity Church through Ridgeway to The Shop. 29th NOVEMBER at The Shop there will be a free lantern making workshop for kids. Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm. Saturday 9.00am - 3.00pm Sunday 10.00am - 3.00pm. Because of extended opening hours we need extra volunteers to man the till & make drinks in the afternoons. Whenever you spend £10 or more, in the shop (excluding alcohol & tobacco) you will be eligible to a free ticket for our ‘End of Month’ raffle. Each month the winner will be able to select a delicious cake made by Mark Roby. Order a meal by phone and it will be ready to eat or collect whenever you want it. 01580 860 070. SHORT MAT BOWLS CLUB: Plays in the Village Hall Monday evenings & Thursday afternoons. We have an Annual Christmas Social, drinks & snacks provided, a game with a Christmas Hamper prize for both med and women. At the end of the season the Annual Trophy Dinner 50% paid by the club.
