WHAT’S HAPPENING AT HOLY TRINITY?: November 16th after the afternoon service we will be having a bonfire and BBQ behind the church, invitations with RSVP’s will be sent out nearer the time. On Saturday 20th December there will be a carol service followed by mince pies and mulled wine.,

‘CHILDREN IN NEED’: shows will be performed in the Village Hall on Saturday November 22nd at 7.30pm and Sunday 23rd at 2.30pm. Tickets available in The Community Shop/Cafe price £5.00

SHOP & CAFE NEWS: Afton Carter has joined the team as weekend cook. As from November 1st our opening hours are Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm. Saturday 9.00am - 3.00pm Sunday 10.00am - 3.00pm.

Because of extended opening hours we need extra volunteers to man the till & make drinks in the afternoons.

Whenever you spend £10 or more, in the shop (excluding alcohol & tobacco) you will be eligible to a free ticket for our ‘End of Month’ raffle. Each month the winner will be able to select a delicious cake made by Mark Roby Order a meal by phone and it will be ready to eat or collect whenever you want it. 01580 860 070 You can arrange to have your medication sent to the shop/cafe for your collection

WEDNESDAY 19th NOV. 9.30am - 3.00pm PCSO Iain Tomsett will be holding a community event for marking property. Bring items you want marked. Neighbourhood Watch. Hurst Green has been highlighted as a priority target area to set up an active and ongoing group. It would be great to identify a resident interested in taking on the coordinator role. Community Speed Watch will be promoted using the volunteer coordinators from Etchingham and Hurst Green. Horse Watch is a possibility to have at this event, Iain Tomsett will be asking someone to attend to talk about this.
