The Hurst Green Community shop & Café is now building its volunteer list for the shop. For those of you are still interested who can spare a couple of hours a week then there is a valuable task waiting for you!

There are so many reasons to volunteer for and be part of this worthy community project but here are a few reasons expressed by those who have put their name forward already:

1, It will help to meet new people in the village. 2, Getting back to old values. 3, Looking for a fresh challenge. 4, Learning a new skill. 5, Good work experience for young or unemployed. There is a volunteer meeting on March 24 in the Hurst Green village hall at 10.30am for those who have expressed an interest.
