Hurstpierpoint bedroom damaged by fire
A Hurstpierpoint home was damaged by fire yesterday (Thursday June 13).
Firefighters were called to the house in Cuckfield Road just after 6.30pm.
The blaze was in the first floor bedroom which had 25 per cent damage through smoke and fire.
The emergency service had to use breathing apparatus while getting the fire under control.
They left shortly before 8pm.
