Monday 7 July A Golfing Challenge for the golfers of Icklesham Casuals Football Club !! 36 holes-in-a day in 9 different counties using only 5 golf clubs to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support and the Icklesham New Pavilion Fund. The counties are Sussex,Surrey, Hampshire,Berkshire,Buckinghamshire,Hertfordshire,Middlesex,Essex and Kent. But why only 5 golf clubs?? There is a lot of driving involved and a lot of golf bags would have taken up too much space! The Casuals are looking for sponsors for every hole played by each individual player at £10 per hole. This means around 500 holes to be sponsored and the potential to raise 5 grand for the two good causes. In addition if the Club can achieve its target it hopes to obtain further matched sponsorship. If you would like to sponsor a hole contact David Mayne 01424 424986 or email the Club at [email protected]
