Saturday July 6 - Regrettably the planned July Craft Fair has been cancelled as so many people concerned are away on annual leave or have family commitments. There will be a craft section at the combined Fete and Flower Show on Saturday 3 August. The next Craft Fair in the Memorial Hall will be on Saturday 7 September. Sandra Stunt apologises for the cancellation.

The Flower Festival weekend of June 22 and 23 had net receipts of £2168 - an excellent result and a great credit to the many people who contributed in so many different ways.

Thursday July 25 the sixth Icklesham Casuals Golf tournament at the Wellshurst Golf Club near Horam. This is open to any past or present members of the Football Club. A variety of trophies will be played for.A cup of tea or coffee with a bacon roll, then a round of golf and a meal to finish. All for £25. Phone Bob Baker for details on 07974 419738.

Sunday July 28 4pm the Memorial Hall. Icklesham Players are hosting a professional one man show with Martin Wimbush as ‘’Wellington’’. This well known actor has written and produced this much praised play. The famous Duke has many local connections, He was M.P. for Rye when he was Prime Minister and he and his officers were based in Hastings Old Town in 1806. Tickets are £8 and are available from Icklesham Stores.
