Sunday 10 March Mothering Sunday in the service starting at 10.30 there will be Communion and posies for the children to give to their Mothers. This will be a family service to which all are welcome as we give thanks for Mother Church as well as for our earthly Mothers.

Saturday 16 March - the first Church Market 0f 2013 11am - 2pm.Tea,coffee,cakes and light lunches will be on sale plus stalls with cakes,produce,bric-a-brac and books. always a warm welcome and a chance to meet up and chat, Anything for the various stalls would be most welcome. All proceeds go to Church funds,

At the end of the month All Saints celebrates Easter and the Parish Church is decorated with Easter Lilies.If you would like to donate one of these beautiful flowers in memory of a Loved One contact Janet Thompson who will be at the Church Market to order one.The List of Dedications will be placed in the Church or you can phone her on 01797 222891.

Today, Friday 8 March, the Hall is busy.From 12.30 till 2pm there is a Lent Lunch with homemade soup,bread,cheeses and hot or cold drinks. Just make a donation to this week’s charity.After 2 the Good Companions Club meet witha variety of activities and tea and biscuits. All are welcome to either or both of these friendly events.

Are you interested in playing Short Mat Bowls? The minimum length mat is 12.2 metres which would fit in the Hall. Before the initial expense Eric Butler is trying to find of if there is sufficient interest. Ring 01424 814869 and let him know.

The Icklesham Players have had to postpone their Pantomime ‘’The Canterville Ghost’’ because the leading man had to have an operation.. However the show has been recast and rehearsals are going very well. The new dates are in April - Thursday 18,Friday 19 and Saturday 20 at 7.30 with a matinee at 2.30 on the Saturday. Tickets will soon be available from the Village Store or by phoning 01424 812996.The Players are very grateful for the offer of a garage for storage but they could still do with more space, so if anybody with an empty building or even a piece of land where a container could be placed would be willing to help, Nicky Harris on the above number would love to hear from you.

Windmill Orchard Farm Shop are n ow licensed to sel lcider,ales and wines. Opening times are 9.30am - 4.00pm 7 days a week and delivery is free.

Icklesham Casuals form is worth watching. The first team play in East Sussex League division 2. The winter weather has led to a big back log but a week ago Casuals 3rd placed beat Hastings Rangers 2nd placedC 8-3. Top of the league Crowborough 111 are 17 points ahead but have played 5 more games. Casuslas have a real chance.
