After the Service there will be a planning meeting about the Parish Christmas Fayre which is on Saturday 1 December 10-1 in the Memorial Hall. Everyone is welcome. Visitors with new ideas will even receive a great big smile.

The Robin Hood Bonfire Society has rearranged the Bonfire and Fireworks for Saturday 29 December.

Visiting The Conquest? Take Eddie Catt’s advice and don’t use the expensive Hospital Car Park. Just across the road is much cheaper parking and there are traffic lights so crossing the road is no problem. Thanks Eddie.

The Highways Agency have given notice of two sets of road works on the A259.

With an order coming into effect on 24 November a section west of Broad Street will have a temporary weekday/off peak 40 mph speed limit.

On 8 December an order comes into effect affecting the A259 and Monks’ Lane in Winchelsea. If you are like me and do not know which is Monks’ Lane ask a Winchelsea resident.

The Coffee Morning in aid of Family Support Work held on Saturday 27 October Raised an excellent £369.75. A donation of £90 was also made so the eventual total was£459.75.
