A working group of the Ickenham Trusts Committee has been looking at the possible future of the Recreation Ground Pavilion. It is considering proposals to refurbish; or refurbish and extend the current Pavilion; or to replace it with a new Pavilion. The Trusts Committee would like to hear the views of all Icklesham residents who have an interest in the current and future use of the Pavilion.

You are invited to come along to an Open Meeting in the Memorial Hall at 7.30 Tuesday 15 May to hear the options being considered and to express your views. Any proposals involving refurbishment of,, extension to or replacing the existing building will involve a considerable amount of work in fund raising and seeking grants and the Trust Committee want to ensure that any proposal has wide support before embarking on a particular route. The Committee are also very keen to see greater provision for youth sport in the village and welcome anyone who shares this vision.
