On Sunday 24th, you are invited to the Orchard Cattery in Readers Lane for an Open Day organised by the Cats’ Protection League. Come and visit, and meet some young cats who are seeking for-ever homes with a garden. Opening times are 11.30 am to 4 pm. For any further information please ring 280 378.

Volunteers are needed to help with the Iden Village Spring Clean. Basically this is a litter pick. It is happening on Wednesday 27th March from 10am for about and hour with refreshments afterwards. Meet at the Old Hall. Please wear heavy duty clothes, gloves and shoes. Contact the Parish Clerk on 01797 270 790 or your nearest councillor for more details. I understand that bags, visibility jackets and pickers will be provided, so long as they know how many people can come.
