Iden village voice

Next weekend is the time for the lovely Flower Festival in Iden Church.

It will be open on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September. It will coincide with Harvest Festival. Teas will be served on both days in the Old Hall.

The Harvest supper will be on Saturday 29th at Oxenbridge at 7.30 pm. Details are on the notice board.

The Autumn Show of the Playden and Iden Garden Society will be on Saturday 29th September at 2.30 pm followed immediately by the Annual General meeting. Do come.

You are sorting books for the sale on 13th October, aren’t you? The funds are to raise money for the Village Hall which is currently undergoing improvements. Contact Carol on 280 464 or Ray on 280 311.

The mid-week services are 9.30 am for Morning Prayer and 3.30 pm for Evening Prayer on Wednesday.

The 9.30am service for 16th Sunday after Trinity will be Parish Communion led by the Vicar.
