Iden village voice

After the excellent Iden Fete the village has gone very quiet, no doubt resting on its laurels.

I have yet to hear the total funds raised for the village organisations, but will let you know a.s.a.p.

The church Flower Festival and Harvest Festival will be held over the weekend of 29/30 September.

The Iden and Playden Autumn Flower and Produce Show will be held on Saturday 29th September.

Therefore many gardens will be raided for each of these events. If we have a good autumn there will be plenty of flowers available.

The mid-week services will be as usual at 9.30 am for Morning Prayer and 3.30 pm for Evening Prayer on Wednesday.

The 9.30 am service for the 10th Sunday after Trinity will be Parish Communion led by the Vicar.
