The new date for the Bring and Share Lunch in the Old Hall from 12.30 to 2 pm is Sunday 1st July. All welcome.

In case you have mislaid your programme for the Jubilee Picnic in the Park, on Monday 4th June, the details are as follows.

2pm Welcome

2.30 pm Dedication

3 pm Afternoon tea - bring a plate of sandwiches to share, hot drinks available from the pavilion, followed by strawberries and cream.*4 pm Quiz and games, also entertainment from “Trundlehonk.”

4.30 pm Cake cutting

5 pm Toast to the Queen.

Don’t forget rugs/chairs/ cushions and either sunshades or umbrellas !!! (It wouldn’t, would it ?) To request transport please contact Mary Philo on 01797 270 790.

The Parish Council will meet on Thursday 7th June in the village Hall. Please note change of date.

A kind friend rang me to say that there are May Bugs in Iden, knocking on her window. So there are a few about.

The 9.30 am service for Trinity Sunday will be Family Communion.
