A small group of Iden villagers plans to hold a Christmas Lunch in the village hall on 25th December for those who are alone or might wish to share their Christmas with others in the village.

A leaflet has been distributed to all households in the village explaining more about the lunch and how to register as a guest, helper or donor. If you are interested in attending, or maybe just to help out or even provide a donation, please complete the strip at the bottom of the leaflet and return it to Iden Village Shop by 19th May - tomorrow - or contact Debbie Curd on 01797 280 446, Paul Parsons on 280 041 or Jenny Sperring on 280 216.

Plans are now well advanced for a grand picnic in the playing field on the day which it is hoped that many people from the village will attend and join in commemorating a very special day. Full details will be announced soon.

Weekday services are on Wednesday at 9.30 am for Morning Prayer and 3.30 pm for Evening Prayer.

The 9.30 am service on Sunday will be Parish Communion led by the vicar.
