Iden village voice

Tonight in the village hall at 7.30 pm Brenda Holcombe will be telling the Iden and District Natural History Society all about ‘Madagascar Revisited’. Unless you are a member, the entrance fee is £2.50.

Also tonight there is the quiz in the Old Hall at 7.30 pm, but tickets are probably sold out by the time you read this.

On Monday evening 12th March, at 7.30 pm, Mrs. Ylva Blid-Mackenzie, joint proprietor of the Madrona Nursery in Bethesden will be talking about Exotic Plants. She will also have some for sale. This is the latest meeting of the Iden and Playden Garden Society.

Iden W. I. has a meeting on Tuesday 13th March at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall.

Please would anyone who would like to exhibit paintings or pottery in the Iden Spring Weekend contact Mr. John Harrison on 280 240.

This takes place over the w/e of 31st March and 1st April. The exhibition will be in the Old Hall, and a few spring gardens will also be open on the Sunday

Weekday services are at 9.30 am - Morning Prayer, and 3.30 pm - Evening Prayer on Tuesday..

The 9.30 am service for the 3rd Sunday of Lent will be Parish Communion.
