There is to be another Fun Quiz and Fish and Chip Supper in Iden Village Hall on Friday 29th October at 7.30 pm. Tables of 6 make up the teams, and to book, please call Mrs. Pat Buckland on 01797 280 589. Please bring your own drinks, glasses and cutlery. And if you especially like tomato ketchup, perhaps you’d better bring that too! Tickets are £7.50 per person. The Quiz Master will be John Harrison.

Tonight at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall, the Iden and District Natural History Society have the next Winter Lecture given by Mr. Martin Hole, who will speak about Farming for Wildlife on Pevensey Levels. The subscription for all talks is £12, for individual lectures it is £2.50.

Tickets are now on sale for the Bowls Club’s Concert to be held on Saturday 20th November at 7.30 pm. They cost £4 each. Please contact Teresa on 280 143 or call at 28 Parkwood.

There will be a Whist Drive in the Village Hall on Wednesday at 7.30 pm.

Iden Singers begin their rehearsals on Monday 8th November in church for the Christmas Carol Concert which will be held on Tuesday 21st December. If you would like to sing, please contact Susannah on 280 304.
