Rye Bonfire Society is mourning the loss of yet another long-standing member, Ashley W Booth, who has passed away aged 61.

Also in Rye, a pensioner and anti-war protestor will be spending Christmas in prison after he was jailed for refusing to pay his council tax - again.

The annual SERV Sussex toy run is taking place tomorrow (Saturday, December 17) which will see around 140 bikers delivering Christmas presents to sick kids at children’s wards across Sussex.

Donations of toys and gifts can be left at the Route 1066 Cafe, which can be found on the A21 at Johns Cross. More information can be found on our health page.
