In today’s County Times: Horsham school tops league table

In today’s West Sussex County Times (Thursday October 22) a society has told how the future of neighbourhood planning across the country could be in doubt as a village waits for the result of a planning appeal, a school has received a royal visit after opening a new £9m centre, a Horsham man has been jailed for supplying cocaine, two residents have described their anger at their housing associations over maintenance problems, a police officer has been banned after drink-driving to work and thousands of residents have rallied to save a much loved Kirdford bridge.

Also in today’s paper councillors have rejected plans to build 54 homes in a village, a group have been left disappointed after a series of problems spoilt their trip to Chessington World of Adventures, head teachers from across the district have campaigned for more teachers after meeting the education minister and a Henfield chocolate guru has been named among the world’s greatest business leaders.
