INQUEST TOLD THAT MOTORCYCLIST LOST CONTROL AFTER TAKING BEND TOO FAST

A FATHER of three died after losing control of his motorbike when taking a corner in Arundel too fast an inquest in Chichester heard on June 28.

John Stewart, 34, of Stanley Road, Portsmouth, was on his way home from a day out to London and Brighton, on September 10, last year.

He was riding with his three friends on their motorbikes, when he crashed at around 4.30pm on The Causeway on the A27.

The inquest heard that as he tried to regain control of his Yamaha bike he slammed on the brakes which threw him into an oncoming Ford Focus.

His wife, Suzanne told the inquest he was an experienced rider who rode his bike to work nearly every day, and had been riding his Yamaha for about a year.
