Is this the largest collection of lorinery in Britain?

SLINDON lorinery collectors John and June Pegler spent four days cataloguing their enormous collection of equine bits, stirrups and spurs in the village hall last week.

They opened boxes to reveal items they have not seen for yhears, having begun almost 50 years ago to amass what is now thought to be the biggest collection in the country.

In the interim, wooden boxes full of different items , ranging from centuries BC to more modern times, have been stacked in two garden sheds and in the loft of their home as the collection steadily grew.

They thought the time had finally come to meticulously itemise everything they have collected before sending it to a safe storage area.
