Is this the Rye area picture of the year?

Not to be outdone by the incredible picture of a weasel hitching a ride on the back of a green woodpecker, which went viral on social media, Rye soon came up with its own response to all the fuss - a Romney Marsh lamb enjoying a ride on the back of a heron.

The image was published on the Rye Town Facebook site at the weekend, claiming to have been snapped by an amateur photographer at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.
