Isfield villagers have been exhibiting scarecrows outside their homes this week. After the success of the first scarecrow competition for the Jubilee last year the village decided to do it again for Sunday’s village fete.
The winner - judged by public vote - will be announced on the afternoon. The ninth Isfield fete includes Deb’s Dancers, the chance to win a Dog Sled Experience in Friston Forest, fun dog show, terrier racing, tea, Pimms and beer tents, hog roast and barbecue. Starts behind the Laughing Fish at 12.30pm. Admission £1.50 adults and 50p children.
