Jesus Christ Superstar at the DLWP

OPERA lovers are in for a treat this November when Bexhill Light Operatic & Dramatic Society (BLODS) stage their autumn production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the De La Warr Pavilion.

With lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar is based on the Gospel’s account of the last week of Jesus’ life and is renowned for being the longest-running musical in West End history

This will be the first time the show can be seen in Bexhill and the enthusiastic cast of over 40 BLODS members believe it is an opportunity not to be missed and were granted a special licence to stage the popular rock opera at the DLWP.
