Jewellery and money stolen in Southwater burglary

Three pairs of earrings and a quantity of money were stolen from a house in Southwater on Friday April 3.

Police said the incident, in Beechwood, occurred between 12pm and 10:25pm.

They added the suspect is believed to have gained entry to the home by smashing a patio door window after an attempt to force open the conservatory door with garden implements from a nearby shed was unsuccessful.

Jewellery including two pairs of diamond earrings and a pair of pearl earrings were taken along with a quantity of cash.
