Jobless people in Bognor Regis can volunteer at PDSA

UNEMPLOYED young people in Bognor Regis can lend a paw and get some retail experience.

In response to soaring unemployment figures, national veterinary charity the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) has launched a initiative designed entice volunteers.

Store manager of the Sudley Road shop, Pauline Cheesman, said: “We have several volunteer vacancies here in Bognor and I’d urge those who have just graduated or who have been made redundant to consider volunteering.

“In return for donating their time, we have lots to offer our volunteers, including a free retail training programme that can be tailored to individual interests and skills.

“Everyone involved benefits in some way.”
