The Rotary Club of Hastings has launched is launching a polio awareness campaign from Monday (Feb 16) to March 9.
In conjunction with Hastings Borough Council the campaign aims to raise awareness of the disease which has caused devastation around the world.
During the campaign the borough council is turning its illuminated lamp posts along the seafront to purple which is the international symbol of the eradication of polio campaign.
There will be two collection points for anyone who would like to make a contribution.
The first is Imagen Gallery in Claremont near the library and the second is Holden solicitors in Robertson Street.
