Joy as Littlehampton lights turned on

Littlehampton High Street was packed with Christmas spirit last Friday as the town switched on its lights.

Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy an evening of entertainment and watch the town be lit up for the festive season.

The High Street was filled with festive themed stalls and many of the shops were open until 8pm to allow people to snap up some Black Friday bargains.

The lights were switched on by mayor councillor Ian Buckland and special guest Miss Sussex, accompanied by the first snowfall of the year.

Guests were entertained by acts including the Flash, Bang Wallop Glow Drummers and local choirs.
