Jubilee celebrations planned

COASTAL towns are gearing up for a right Royal weekend of celebrations to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.

A varied line-up of events for all ages has been organised including parties, music, sport and even a Second World War Spitfire flypast.

Today (Friday)

Big Band Dance Night, Downs Leisure Centre, Seaford

Twinning Association 20th anniversary trips out, Meridian Centre, Peacehaven.

The Mayor of Newhaven presents Golden Jubilee medallions to 1,100 children at the town's junior and infant schools.

Tomorrow (Saturday)
