Kay experiences choc and awe
A delighted Kay said: “I know it’s difficult to believe, but this is the first thing I’ve ever won. It was a lovely egg and so large I’ve given some of it away.”
It is estimated that more than 2,500 people entered draws held in bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and offices in and around Bexhill in a bid to win the eggs, which in total represented a hundredweight of chocolate.

Club spokeswoman Andrea Etheridge said: “Unfortunately three eggs melted due to the unseasonably warm weather. The two least damaged were donated to Glyne Gap School.
“We’d like to thank to all who entered, and special thanks to the pubs, clubs, restaurants, shops and offices who gave magnificent support by running the Easter Egg draws.”
