This is the fifth Big Energy Saving Week and is a partnership between Citizens Advice, the Energy Saving Trust and the Department of Energy and Climate Change with the support of numerous organisations, charities and companies.

People could save hundreds of pounds a year on their fuel bill by simply checking they are not paying more than they have to for their energy.

Switching suppliers, changing to a different tariff or exploring different billing methods are all options which could help without people having to reduce energy use.
