Children at Noah’s Ark Nursery in Railway Road, Newhaven, are gaining confidence on two wheels thanks to staff attending a training course, delivered by HALO (Healthy Active Little Ones).

So far 21 children aged three to four have learned to ride a bike.

Sophie Lucas from the nursery said: “This course has awakened the joy of cycling amongst everyone, including staff!

“We are so proud of all of our children, and it’s lovely to see how proud they are of themselves.”

An open day will be held on July 25 where children can bring their bikes to learn to ride.
