Kind Wick shoppers answer SOS appeal

Shoppers at Morrisons donated almost £245 towards Littlehampton-based charity Support Our Soldiers’ (SOS) latest appeal, on Saturday, June 15.

Penny Keene, area co-ordinator of the charity, which provides parcels to lonely or injured servicemen and women, said she was thrilled at the support the group received.

Penny, who was collecting with friends Joy Funnell, Dinah Hopton and Sandra Heaton, said the money helped to purchase a total of 50 parcels, which will be sent out to troops overseas and in rehabilitation centres across the UK.
