Knickers on fire in High Street
A PAIR of ladies knickers were set alight in Battle on Monday afternoon (June 24).
The town’s firefighters found the smouldering smalls in a hedge outside Battle Youth Centre in the High Street just before 2.25pm.
One firefighter said: “It was a slightly unusual call for us.”
It is not known who set alight to the pants, which appeared overnight on Sunday.
