Knotweed invasion in Aldingbourne

An invasion of knotweed along the banks of the Aldingbourne Rife is causing concern to councillors.

Felpham Parish Council member Graham Matthews said it was important action was taken now to stop the plant spreading even further.

Cutting the weed during the annual clearance of the rife would worsen its spread.
