‘KYLIE Minogue’ popped into a local pub to sing along to some tunes in Pevensey Bay.

Tribute artist Wendy Wild made a star appearance for a Kylie Tribute Night organised at the Beach Tavern last Saturday, June 23.

Nigel Goodall, Kylie’s biographer, was also involved in the event which raised more than £170 for a breast cancer charity called ‘Breakthrough’.

The money was raised from a raffle that Goodall organised, which included an original copy of his now very scarce 2002 bestselling Kylie biography, ‘Kylie Naked’, her latest ‘Best of’ album CD/DVD, a compilation album of remixes, book and album posters and an official photo of Kylie in a frame.

Wendy Wild, dressed in Kylie costumes, took local fans on a musical journey from the 1980s to the present day with classics such as ‘Hand on Your Heart’; ‘The Locomotion’ and ‘Especially for you’.
