In 2008, Lancing Business Park became a Business Improvement District (BID), a government scheme which allows the business community and local authorities to work together to improve its trading environment.

A spokesperson for the BID panel said: “The business park is a success, it is full, it has a low crime rate, increasing freehold values, and interestingly growing Inter Park Trading.

“Member companies are reporting growth and therefore increasing employment.”

The Vice-principle of the Sir Robert Woodard Academy, Andrew Edwards, helped organise the event with business park officials.
