Lancing charity receives £25,000

A LANCING charity which helps children has been given a grant of £25,000.

Electric Storm Youth (ESY), which holds events and drop-in sessions for youngsters between the ages of 11 and 18, was given the money by the Big Lottery Fund last month.

As well as helping to fund the charity’s activities, part of the money will also go towards paying for a new full-time youth worker.

This will enable ESY to extend the range and frequency of youth services it provides and increase the number of young people the charity works with.
