Landslip causes train delays

BAD weather is causing a headache for train passengers today (Monday) after a landslip closed part of the Hastings to Charing Cross line.

A landslip on Sunday near the Wadhurst tunnel means that train operator Southeastern is unable to run any services between Tunbridge Wells and Robertsbridge.

Buses have replaced trains between the two stations.

And there is disruption further down the line with a shuttle train service operating between Robertsbridge and Hastings, adding an extra half an hour to some journey times.
