Lanterns available for hire to raise funds for Lewes parade

Children’s art charity Patina is preparing to light up Lewes for a second year this Christmas by hiring hand-made lanterns to raise money for the 2016 Moving On Parade.

The shining star, peace bauble and Christmas tree lanterns are made of the trademark Patina willow and tissue materials, and are lit by an LED light in each lantern. They are being hired for the festive season for between £20 - £35, depending on design.

Raphaella Sapir of Patina said: “We were delighted that more than 50 local businesses and homes hired lanterns last year and the feedback was great. We hope that people will help us to light up Lewes again this year and we really appreciate all those who support our fundraising effort for Moving On in this festive way.”

Anyone wanting to hire a lantern should contact for more information.

Orders need to be placed by November 13 for delivery by Late Night Shopping on December 3.
