Large emergency response to incident at Eastbourne hotel

Multiple emergency vehicles responded to an incident at an Eastbourne hotel this afternoon (Saturday, September 19).

Several fire engines and ambulances attended the incident at the OYO Marine Parade Hotel at just after 3.30pm.

Firefighters used an aerial ladder platform (ALP) as part of the emergency operation.

A spokesman for East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said: “We were there to assist SECAMB with a medical incident. We attended at 3.42pm.”

South East Coast Ambulance Service has been approached for a comment.
